I did not inspect the string and assume it should be in nearly the same condition as the packaging. I have zero experience with stringed instruments and like many other vintage items I have listed on eBay, I am offering this solely on the basis of the quality of the package and it's decorative value - and not for it's contents condition or functionality. I may have multiples of the same string and all are in the same very good condition. This measures 3 3/4" x 3 3/4".
