Vintage 1920-30's Landers, Frary & Clark Electric Toaster
This came from a well cared for collection where it appears that all toasters were either barely used - or perhaps never used at all.
This Universal Landers, Frary & Clark brand toaster features a stylish steel construction with several "self framed" design elements. Both knobs and the feet are firmly attached to the body. One knob for sliding out the tray for placement and removal when done - the other is to keep the toaster steady while handling. The rails on top look to be for placing small trays or items to warm what can fit there:) The bottom is weighted to prevent tip over. There is a dent on top that does not take much away from it's desirable lines. In excellent condition inside and out. I rarely clean or polish anything I offer here to leave that decision up to the new owner. Offering this only as the true decorative piece of art that it is:) Comes without an electric cord. Untested.
It measures 6 1/2" H x 8 1/2" L (between base corners) x 4 3/4" W (between base corners)
