On watermarked paper stock. Showing signs of toning and handling consistent with it's age - mostly toning. Expected fold creases from posting. No tears, corner fold creases or separations. Edges are clean. All text is clear and 100% legible. In good to very good condition. You will receive the exact example as seen in the photos. Will display well in your collection. Excellent candidate for framing. It measures approx. 5 1/2" x 8"
The Bullion & Exchange was originally the Carson City Savings Bank, which was incorporated in 1875. It became the Bullion & Exchange (B&E) in 1882. It was restructured into the State Bank and Trust Company in 1903, failing by 1907. It served the Carson and Comstock by providing financial services and brokering the sales of mining stocks. It also acted as a clearing house for other banks in Nevada for bullion, coin, scrip, drafts, checks, bills of exchange and other valuables, with branches in Hawthorne, Tonopah, Goldfield and Manhattan, Nevada. The B & E had an office inside the Carson City mint with the bank controlling the refinery operations after 1893
