"Vacuum Oil News" was published monthly in these "Non-Standard-Oil" years beginning in 1925 and ending in 1931 - which was the year when Standard Oil (Socony) merged into Vacuum-Socony Corp. - which made the newly formed company the 3rd largest oil company. There were other name changes throughout the decades - and It was not until 1966 that the company would be known as simply, Mobil Oil Corporation.
