French card. Signed by Xavier Sager (1870-1930) better known for his female fashion and much more controversial risqué work, also did a fair amount of patriotic / military illustrations as well. I would have to imagine that Sager's work was an inspiration to Alberto Vargas. Showing only minor signs of age, toning, wear and handling. Edges and corners are firm. Surfaces are smooth. In good to very good condition.
