French card. Signed by Xavier Sager (1870-1930) better known for his female fashion and much more controversial risqué work, also did a fair amount of patriotic / military illustrations as well. I would have to imagine that Sager's work was an inspiration to Alberto Vargas. Showing only minor signs of age, toning, wear and handling. Edges are firm - corners have minor wear. Surfaces are smooth. In good to very good condition.
