I could not locate much info on "Seawall & Day" Co. Only that in 1893 and along with a few other related companies that were owned by the same parent company, The National Cordage Company" went into receivership.

Nickerson & Baxter manufactured, among other items, marine compasses.

Showing barely any signs of wear and handling consistent with its age. No issues to note. Eye-catching illustrated "seawall" vignette, typefaces / fonts and bold hand writing. Overall in very good condition. An excellent framing candidate. You will receive the exact billhead shown in the photos. Will display well in your collection. The sheet itself measures approx. 5 1/2" x 8 3/8"
