*Charles Guth, whom owned Mavis Candies, a Long Island based company that made chocolate candy and soft drinks, sold his business for stock in "Loft, Inc." a chain of candy stores that featured fountain soda counters and was going through 31,000 gallons of Coca-Cola syrup. In 1931, Guth switched over to Pepsi, after having bought it out of bankruptcy along with a partner for approx. $10,500 - then he went on to buy out the partner's interest. When the dust settled, Guth owned approx. 90% of Pepsi.
Scarce. Showing minor signs of wear and handling consistent with its age. Expected fold creases from posting. Minor tears and paper loss at the edges of the fold creases. Surface creases throughout. No other major issues to note. Overall, in good condition. Will display well in your collection. An excellent framing candidate. You will receive the exact certificate shown in the photos.
