*Charles Guth, whom owned Mavis Candies, a Long Island based company that made chocolate candy and soft drinks, sold his business for stock in "Loft, Inc." a chain of candy stores that featured fountain soda counters and was going through 31,000 gallons of Coca-Cola syrup. In 1931, Guth switched over to Pepsi, after having bought it out of bankruptcy along with a partner for approx. $10,500 - then he went on to buy out the partner's interest. When the dust settled, Guth owned approx. 90% of Pepsi.
Scarce. Showing only minor signs of wear and handling consistent with its age. Expected fold creases from posting. Minor / small tears and wear along the top and bottom edges.
