The pier, at the time of its opening in 1898, was the company's most costly single project. It was destroyed in a hurricane in 1944.
Combo* - Notice the black strip at the bottom left corner on the reverse. The text that it is covering reads "This side is exclusively for the address" making this an "undivided" card where the "divided" line and text was added after the policy change.
Showing barely any signs of wear and handling consistent with its age. Corners and edges are very firm and without folds, creases, tears or softness. Colors are vibrant. Overall, in very good condition. Will display well in your collection. You will receive the exact card shown in the photos. It measures approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"
