Richard C. Halliday went to Montana in the early 1880s and for a time was a passenger conductor for the Utah and Northern Railroad. In 1885 he established a wholesale liquor operation in Dillon, Montana that he operated until 1896.
From a large, well cared for collection. Showing only minor signs of age and handling consistent with its age. Small top edge tears and top right corner fold-over. No fold creases.
