Richard C. Halliday went to Montana in the early 1880s and for a time was a passenger conductor for the Utah and Northern Railroad. In 1885 he established a wholesale liquor operation in Dillon, Montana that he operated until 1896.
From a large, well cared for collection. Showing only minor signs of age and handling consistent with its age. Small clean top edge tear. Notch near left edge - possibly from a receipt skewer. Fold creases from posting. Eye-catching type faces / fonts. In good condition. You will receive the exact example shown in the photos. It measures approx. 3" x 7 5/8"
