Welcome to my listing for:

Chicago T.E. Dougherty New England Mince Meat 1895 Receipt Buford

Simeon R. Buford opened the region’s largest grocery store in Virginia City, Montana in 1878. Buford’s was the supply point for most of southwestern Montana, including the infant “Butte City.” In later years, Butte’s huge warehouses would, in turn, supply Buford’s own business. The store would become one of the most successful in Virginia City history, operating well into the 1920s

On "World's Fair" watermarked stock that features a man & globe (Atlas?) graphic.

Showing barely any signs of wear consistent with its age. Expected fold creases from posting. No tears or loss. Eye-catching illustrated pie cutting vignette. Overall, in very good to exceptional condition. Will display well in your collection. It measures approx. 5 7/8" x 9 3/8"

You will receive the exact example shown in the photos. **Ships securely (possibly folded at an existing crease) in a poly bag, sandwiched with chipboard inside a flat rigid mailer**
