Possibly the same "F. Bona" that was involved in a 1878 property transfer involving "Rubinet Ranch, head of Nelson" printed in the "Feather River Bulletin, Quincy, CA"
Only minor signs of wear or handling consistent with its age. May have cut cancels, punch cancels and / or slight expected fold creases from posting. No unexpected stains, tears, holes, folds, creases or paper loss. Eye-catching illustrated mining vignette and bold header type face / font and legible hand writing. Overall, clean and in very good condition. You will receive the exact check shown in the photos. It measures approx. 3 1/4" x 8 5/8"
