1996 MGM Grand Dallara vs. G Force New Indy Car Introduction Event Ticket 4 of 4
Beginning after the final IRL race of the season, the Indy 200 at Walt Disney World on January 25, 1997, the new Indy formula featuring a 4.0-liter, normally-aspirated engines and chassis with modified aerodynamics will began use. These new Indy cars were unveiled at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas Saturday night, Sept. 14. Chassis made by Dallara (Italy) and G Force (England), and the Aurora V8 and the Infiniti Indy V8 engines, were presented for the first time.
This was part of the large well cared for Charlie Walker collection. Charlie was very active in the Indianapolis community. One of his main passions was the track - which was where you would find him through the entire month of May. Charlie served at IMS for over 55 years with the legendary Tom Carnegie on the Public-Address team before retiring in 2014. Mr. Walker passed in 2018.
Showing barely any signs of wear and handling consistent with its age. No tears, creases, folds, separations, indents, stains or loss. Colors are vibrant. Clean. In very good condition. You will receive the exact example as shown in the photos. It measures approx. 3 1/2" x 8"
