1949 AAA "Racing Mechanician License" "Charles Henry Meyer" ID Card - Scarce
Charles wore all the hats throughout his racing career - he was a race car builder, owner, designer, racer and chief mechanic. He began his journey racing the Big Cars between 1928-36 and was considered to be a "Hard Charger" with a lead foot. He was still involved in racing right through the 1970's and even rebuilding engines in his home garage into the 1980's There is much more in between 1928 and the 1980's. You should read a great "National Sprint Car Hall of Fame" piece on Charles written by Bob Moore in 2012.
On thin card stock. Top and bottom surface showing only minor signs of wear and handling consistent with its age - mostly slight wear staining on the reverse. No tears or hard fold creases. Color stock is vibrant. Overall, in good to very good condition. Will display well in your collection. You will receive the exact card as seen in the photos. Folded, it measures approx. 2 3/8" x 3 5/8"
This will ship securely in a new poly bag, sandwiched with cardboard, inside a rigid mailer via USPS Ground Advantage service with a tracking number. The shipping cost for the first purchase is $4.00 and no extra cost for other additional items that can be shipped in the same package.
