On watermarked paper. Showing signs of age, wear, handling and toning - mostly right edge small tears and creasing. Two fastening holes near top edge. Expected fold creases from posting. It measures approx. 7 1/4" x 8 1/4" In good condition. You will receive the exact example as seen in the photos. Would display very well in a clear vinyl page protector as part of your binder collection.
*Ephraim Baker (1836-1919) operated a general store in Mount Olive, Shenandoah County, Virginia for most of his adult life. This is part of a collection of billheads / letterheads mostly from purchases from wholesale merchants for inventory for Baker's store. His store was used at one point as a hospital during the Civil War. He also served as Mt. Olive Postmaster from 1874 to 1889 and 1895 1898. Baker is buried in the Saint Stephens Cemetery, Strasburg, VA
