On colored watermarked paper. Showing only minor signs of age and handling. Expected fold creases from posting. Wavy creases along 1" below top edge. No fold creases. Two holes near top edge. No fastening staple / pin holes. Small bottom left corner fold-over. Eye-catching mixed type faces / font on company header. Clean edges and surface. In good to condition. *Ephraim Baker (1836-1919) operated a general store in Mount Olive, Shenandoah County, Virginia for most of his adult life. This is part of a collection of Checks, billheads and letterheads mostly from purchases from wholesale merchants for inventory for Baker's store. His store was used at one point as a hospital during the Civil War. He also served as Mt. Olive Postmaster from 1874 to 1889 and 1895 1898. Baker is buried in the Saint Stephens Cemetery, Strasburg, VA
