The Woods Investment Company was organized in 1893 and was composed of Warren Woods, father and President, along with sons Frank Woods, Treasurer, and Harry Woods, Manager. Warren was a major player in the Cripple Creek mining district. By 1903, the company owned or promoted over 20 mining related businesses that supported all aspects surrounding the area such as power, water, land leasing, transportation among others.
Warren and Frank's autographs can be found along the bottom edge in the "secretary" and "President" signature fields.
Showing barely any signs of wear and handling consistent with its age. Expected fold creases from posting. No major issues to note. No punch hole or cut cancels. Eye-catching bold header typeface / font and reflective gilt / gold colored ink embossed gold seal field. Clean throughout. Overall, in good to very good condition.
