This card was specially designed for, and intended to be given out to fairgoers on-site at the 1893 World's Fair held in Chicago - or locally at the 1,000's of merchant's retail locations nationwide in celebration of the fair. Although the fair ran for 6 months and many of these cards were distributed, the quantities of these World Fair cards made pale in comparison to more common varieties that often featured stock artwork and could be kept in stock for years at a time as they were seldom dated.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eUnmarked - No company name. Showing signs of wear, age, use and handling. All text is 100% legible. Large top left corner fold crease and smaller fold creases in all corners. Small right edge crease. No scrapbooking adhesive remnants. Overall, clean and has retained most of it's original sheen. In good condition.
